Since its emergence in late 2019, the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has evolved into a pandemic, heavily affecting the lives of billions of people across the world with an anticipated huge impact on the global economy, national budgets particularly in Africa.

Education is one of the sectors heavily affected, with the closure of learning institutions in many African countries likely to negatively affect education in terms of access, quality and investments.

Great Minds Empire Africa, a foremost pan-African, world–class youth-organization focuses on accelerating, enhancing and sustaining Africa’s progress in her quest to achieving her aspirations as enshrined in the Agenda will be holding a webinar series dubbed “The future of education in Africa: Looking through the lens of Innovation, Culture, Infrastructures, Investment, Policies and PwD Inclusivity”.

The webinar series is scheduled 27th, June, 4th July, 11th July, 18th July & 25th July 2020 within the hour of 1pm UTC with at least 3 key speakers on each day, which will be featuring Educational policy makers, Lecturers and Civil Society leaders from around the world aimed at defining what the future holds for Africa and how we can build or maintain an ecosystem that promoted quality education in building the continent we want.
