ALITFEST is a week-long multi-genre festival organized by the Abuja Literary Society (ALS). It is a grassroot, community-based event that includes panel discussions, workshops, a poetry slam, dance and theatre productions, art exhibitions, and film screenings. This year and the chosen theme is Making Art Work. The idea behind this theme is to programme the festival around finding solutions to the challenges facing the literary space in Nigeria and in Africa.
