The story reveals Oduduwa, the Progenitor of the Yoruba race, empowering his children in martial art, physical and intellectual engagements to prepare them for kingship. When Oduduwa realizes that they are ready for independence, he sets off a grueling competition for them, a game of throne to determine who sits on the throne after his demise.
