Diametrically opposed to this paradigm, is youth involvement in agriculture, sorely lacking in sort of youthful drive witnessed in Sports. The need to attract youth to Agriculture becomes more compelling when we consider the competitive edge our youth can bring through disruptive technologies. The big question today is how can agriculture learn from sports in order to become more efficient in empowering our youth and transforming Nigeria?
The inaugural digital series for AgriConnect will be a 3-day interconnected webinar series designed to inform, educate and engage all our stakeholders. Themed – Agriculture as a Tool For Youth Empowerment , the summit will provide practical solutions on what the Agri sector can learn from the Sports sector on how to engage and impact the Nigerian youth more effectively and get them interested in Agriculture.
The panelists and participating audience will be drawn from among senior executives, regulators, leaders of industry associations and leaders of professional bodies from various industries- including agriculture, sports, banking, insurance, food, etc.
