Retro Africa is pleased to present “Between The Lines”, in partnership with Art Clip Africa, a Solo exhibition featuring works by Uchay Joel Chima. “An exploration of linear dynamics through art and a revision of the fundamentals of drawing. Why do things move the way they do? Uchay employs strings as a means to understanding the general principles concerning motion, causation, connection, direction and longevity. Lines down the middle of a canvas entangle, telling stories of friendship, intimacy and bonding.”
